Evolution Basketball Leagues

Motor City Evolution boasts the most organized and well-run house leagues in Michigan. Our leagues are known for competitive balance, running on time and having strong leadership on site to ensure a fun and fantastic experience for all involved.

Players register as individuals and then evaluated during live group workouts. Players are placed on teams via a live draft so there is no "stacking" of teams. Friend requests are taken but not guaranteed. Although all skill levels are welcome, players should have some prior basketball or team sport experience. If not, we offer a variety of skill clinics that can help prepare kids for a league setting. The registration links below will provide specific information on each league.

2026 WINTER BASKETBALL LEAGUES

Evolution Saturday Boys League

Who: Boys in grades 3-4, 5-7

When: Saturday mornings and early afternoon
Where: Berkshire Middle School in Birmingham
Season Fee: $170 per player includes league shirt
Season Dates: Jan 10 through March 21 (no league events Feb 14)

Evolution Monday Rookie League

Who: Grades 2, 3 and beginner 4th

When: Mondays with start times between 5:45pm and 7:45pm

Where: Bingham Farms Elementary School
Season Fee: $165 per player includes customized league shirt
Season Dates: Jan 12 through March 23 (no league Jan 19 or Feb 16)

Friday Night Lights Girls League

Who: Girls in grades 3-4, 5-7,

When: Fridays only. Earliest start time 6pm. Latest start time 8:30pm
Where: Berkshire MS and Birmingham Covington School
Season Fee: $170

Season Dates: Jan 9 through March 22 (No league Jan 16 or Feb 13)
